About Me
Electrician & Mechanical Engineering Student
I’m a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and a certified industrial/construction electrician. I got my start with Ozz Electric, working on wiring, solar and wind installs, and major builds like Brentwood Tower 3 & 4. From there, I branched out into mechanical design and software, building up about a year of hands-on experience in each area — from testing motors and VFD systems, to CAD/FEA modeling, to Python/MATLAB automation and AI tools. I’ve also worked on residential builds, picked up skills in framing and overhead service, and joined student teams like Baja SAE to keep pushing my design skills.

Mechanical Project Engineer Intern
- Pre-design support for the $10B Iona Island WWTP, including RNG Facility replacing cogen with boilers (energy efficiency ↑ ~500%).
- Deputy lead for influent velocity measurement; supervised flow probing on site.
- Led 1200 HP DC→AC motor upgrade (VFD-driven AC, transformer integration, IGBT-based control).
- Procurement across 90+ contracts; coordinated scopes with ABB, Caterpillar, WEG and internal teams.
